Alyssa and Garrett’s wedding was an epic example of how to roll with the unexpected and make the best of uncontrollable situations. The weekend of their wedding, Tropical Storm Raymond was just off the coast of Baja, threatening to hit Cabo with high gusts and pouring rain. It’s a known time of year for storms, but with the right backup plans in place, wedding season continues on! The team at Amy Abbotts and Flora Farms were ten steps ahead, and by the time the first sprinkles started coming down – just minutes after the ceremony – everything was already tented, moved, and set up so that the night could continue without a hitch. Flora Farms is a large property that’s beautiful for weddings, and the rustic open barn still allowed the space to feel intimate and fun for a night of dancing.
I can’t sing praises about this vendor team highly enough, it’s always so much fun each time we get to work together. They put their heart into each wedding and are so excited for each couple they work with. No matter what a destination wedding brings, if you have the right team you can trust that it’s going to be an amazing day! And you’ll be married to your best friend, which is all that really matters in the end.
